Cribbage: The Board Game

Cribbage has a fine history of almost 400 years. Cribbage The Board Game has been delighting card players since 1990 and is the pioneer game board for playing Cribbage as a table-top game.

It offers most of the traditional Cribbage Rules and Cribbage Scoring in a challenging and fun board game format. Unique Cribbage strategies unfold as players attempt to maximize points in their own hands while at the same time attempting to block their opponents.

The game board consists of 25 card squares on which players form a total of 10 traditional Cribbage scoring hands. One player/team will claim the 5 vertical hands while the other player/team claims the 5 horizontal hands. Players alternate turns placing one card at a time face up on any open game board square. The defensive and offensive play grows in strategy and intensity as the Cribbage hands take form.

Everyone watches in anticipation to see if the next play will add more points to one of the ten cribbage hands or totally destroy the scoring potential of an opponent. It’s a hoot to be a player and a blast for spectators who can’t stop themselves from chiming in with their sideline coaching for the next play. When all the squares on the game board have been covered the players score their respective hands using the traditional Cribbage scoring method.
